Dr Guillem Gonzalez-Lomas, MD was very helpful and attentive. He recommended this arthroscopic hip surgery that consisted in repairing my labral tear in the cartilage and shaving off the head of the femor, which is called femoroplasty (surgery codes are 29914,29915,29916). I went in at 5pm and after some delays at the hospital the surgery lasted less than 2 hours and I was home in my bed by 2am that same night. The next day I had absolutely NO pain.

I ?? Dr G!! He was the only Dr that was able to get me pain free after 7 months in agony!! He’s the GREATEST!!!! Now it’s unfortunate reading reviews from 2016 how Nichole still gets away with being so unprofessional is beyond me. I totally agree with eneryoube else about her! Dr G should replace her because she’s a HORRIBLE representation of him!!!!

He is very precise and explains everything to you which is great. He does not give false hope. I like that. You walk out knowing what you have to look forward to or not. Very pleased with him and would highly recommend. Thanks!!

I appreciated his transparency about his reasons for diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Considering how many patients he sees per day, I felt attended to as an individual. He showed great interest and care for my unique needs. Also, his demeanor was very calm and soothing: very helpful for my anxiety.

I did my research in looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon for my son. I work for NYU. When I read the comments and reviews it was all positive there was only one negative comment posted about the secretary Nicole. I still went ahead and booked the appointment I was not there but my husband had forgotten my son's Picture ID. I spoke to Nicole and faxed it to her from the first time we spoke she seems like a very professional well mannered person, I don't know who posted such comment about her and we need to remember we are all humans and it's not easy dealing with the phone ringing, checking in patients and verifying insurance we all have bad days but the answer for that is GRACE no one is perfect only our Lord Jesus Christ! Nicole also had the courtesy to validate our Parking ticket twice so Thank You Nicole keep up the Good work a good positive attitude will take you a long way. As far as the surgeon My son Loves his bedside manner and he seems very compassionate yes he is the Surgeon we have chosen to do our son's surgery. Thank You all for your help today! He is honestly an amazing doctor. i was seeing another ortho for almost a year for an injury that he kept saying would heal on it's own i just had to keep wearing the expensive brace and doing physical therapy. i finally had enough and came to see dr lomas after a friend referred him to me. he took a look at my last mri and was shocked that the first dr hadn't done surgery. I am currently 3 months post surgery and it feels so much better almost as good as before my accident.

Despite the long wait, (which I attribute to the popularity of this doctor, not a lack of hustle) I was very impressed with Dr. Lomas and his staff. He is kind, professional, articulate, and up to date on all of the trends and practices that relate to his specialty. His nurses are wonderful and his space is clean and organized.

I did a lot of research before choosing a doctor for a possible major injury to my knee. I can say with confidence I chose the right guy for the job in Dr. Lomas. Very personable, professional, and very engaged in diagnosing as well as treating my injury. Highly recommend.
